Hi, my name is Bernard and I've been a DJ since 1989. I started working for Party Sounds around 2001 and, in 2005 I jumped at the opportunity to buy the company.

Things have not been the same since, not for Party Sounds and not for me. I'm the company's principal DJ/MC and I run the office side of things, so it’s me you talk to when you ring. While I prefer to help couples to create a specific mood and ambience on their wedding day, I also enjoy the fun of school discos and the high energy of a 21st birthday that is really going off.

I think the biggest change I've brought to Party Sounds is the belief that, the current roll of a DJ is far more than that of a human jukebox. It's about getting to the heart of what our client wants to achieve at their function, then doing everything in our ability to make that happen.

We take people on an emotional ride with the music we play, the way we interact with them, and the image we project, remembering all the time that the event is not about the DJ; it’s about everyone else in the room.

Party Sounds was started in 1958 by Mr Ray Liddlelow, and as you can imagine, we've done quite a few functions since then. From footy club home games to Sunday sessions, birthday parties, school discos, corporate events and lots and lots of weddings. The equipment we use has evolved, DJ's have come and gone and the music has changed, but Party Sounds has always been committed to making sure you have a good time.

We supply DJ's and MC's who are selected to suit the function, some of the team are mindful of Christian values and are perfect for events where those values are held dear. Others on the team are supportive of a couples commitment to each other based on love and not gender. We ALL support the men and women of our Armed forces and Police department, so we offer A.D.F. and W.A.P.D. members a %15 discount on our services.
